My husband and I privately support 20 single mothers and 27 children in South Africa.

Each month we send financial support to help with food and essential needs. We are also working on a long-term project to help them become self-sufficient. Our goal is to educate and empower the community by developing the land around their old school, where they live, so they can grow their own food and create a sustainable future.

We have already provided chicken coops and chickens, giving them eggs and meat for food, and we continue to contribute weekly towards their monthly food supplies. This small community, just 40 minutes from Cape Town, is home to many mothers who have no employment and struggle to provide for their children.
